On November 24, in the cool weather of Hanoi, Azbil Vietnam brought an enthusiastic sportsmanship to the JCCI Ekiden 2024 race. The event was held at The Garden Bistro, Ecopark with the participation of more than 184 teams from Japanese companies operating in Vietnam and non- Japanese local companies.

The JCCI EKIDEN is an annual traditional Japanese-style relay race, sponsored by the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (JCCI). This year, with theme of “Historical Mark,” the event told a story of the official establishment of the commercial partnership between Vietnam and Japan in 1591.

After many years of operation, the JCCI Ekiden race has affirmed its reputation and professionalism. The race is a source of inspiration for a healthy lifestyle, promoting solidarity and improving the sports spirit of everyone.

In this running race, Azbil Vietnam took part in with two teams: “AVN FUN RUN” and “AVN EXTRA FUN RUN”.  Azbil Vietnam’s runners competed wonderfully, the final rank of “AVN FUN RUN” team was the top ten overall, the “AVN EXTRA FUN RUN” team was 45^th of 184 teams. There was an outstanding runner in the top three individuals out of a total of 900 runner in the race. This is the best achievement in the Ekiden seasons that Azbil Vietnam has participated in, an effort that deserves to be recognized.

The event was successful. The result of Azbil Vietnam teams was over our expectation with the greatest effort, conveyed a positive, dynamic image of the company to the organizer and all teams.
